Reduce Stress

Easier said than done, stress busters come in many forms. Some techniques recommended by experts are to think positive thoughts. Spend 30 minutes a day doing something you like. (i.e.,Soak in a hot tub; walk on the beach or in a park; read a good book; visit a friend; play with your dog; listen to soothing music; watch a funny movie. Get a massage, a facial or a haircut. Meditate. Count to ten before losing your temper or getting aggravated. Avoid difficult people when possible. Thought for the day: When seeing red, think pink clouds….then float on them.

Yoga from the heart, live music,...

"Two words: Absolutely delightful! As indicated by its name, Euphoria is a "wellness studio." That means they offer a lot of classes and services that are good for your body and soul. I've only been to the Tuesday evening kundalini class, and I can tell you that my body *and* my soul are happy that I ventured outside of my yoga comfort zone to experience this gem of a class. If you have been part of the Boston yoga scene for some time, and are looking to broaden your yoga horizons, come here. The studio is lovely, the vibe delightful, the instructor charming and supportive, and the style of yoga is accessible and also quite d-e-e-p. Meditation and chanting and mantras are a big component of this class--and are broken down and explained clearly. If you've got the "meditation in motion" aspect of yoga down, I encourage you to give the "meditation with mantras" a try. In addition to all that goodness, there are two things that particularly make this class stand out in the Boston yoga scene. (1) Live music is woven into each class. The sanskrit singing feels like a lulaby and does wonders for clearing aside the mental to-do list that I carry around with me. (2) Cindy, the instructor, treats her students to a cup of amazing, home-made yogi tea and vegan/raw homemade goodies. Yoga from the heart, live music, and food and drink made with love. Talk about a transformational experience!"
